Kensi Tenhouse, PT, DPT

Kensi Tenhouse, PT, DPT, first discovered her passion for physical therapy following a dance injury in high school. Originally from Marietta, Kensi was a competitive dancer who continued pursuing dance in college. She received her Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science with a minor in Dance from Georgia College and State University in Milledgeville, GA. While in Milledgeville, Kensi taught dance through the GCSU Community Dance Program and performed with the GCSU Sassycats Dance Team.

After graduation, she went on to pursue her Doctorate of Physical Therapy at Georgia Southern University in Savannah, GA. During PT school, Kensi gained valuable experience through various sports medicine programs, including treating youth baseball athletes in Atlanta and ballet dancers in Cincinnati.

After earning her DPT, Kensi decided to call Savannah home and began her physical therapy career at Ledesma Sports Medicine. She is currently engaged, and she and her fiancé have two troublesome cats.
